I'm trying to gauge interest to see if anyone wants to play some paintball.

The date is going to be October 19th and the location: Challenge Park Xtreme. http://www.challengepark.com

The park is located in Joliet and has some of the best playing fields around. From forests to mock cities...the games are set in some awesome backdrops. Since it's October...we won't have as many bugs and the weather will be cooler so you can wear thicker clothing comfortably. I've played a couple times and love it. Especially all the war stories you share afterwards. It's a bonding experience!

I'm definately getting a group together but I'll open it to anyone here who wants to play. If you've never played paintball before....its a blast! It's really easy to learn. We will play in private games so we can stick together as a group and have our own guide for the day. Plus we won't get mopped by some of the pros that run around that park with their 'custom' guns.

This sounds great. I haven't played paintball since I was in college. I presume this is a show up and play type arrangement (i.e., you don't need your own equipment). If so, count me in.

 

Yes, the equipment will be provided by Challenge Park! They will give some training and a brief safety overview. Then it's ON!

Besides capture the flag....they also have some other fun variation of games like 'protect the president' and some others.

BTW...the more people who sign up...the better the pricing. I'll be bringing some friends/coworkers...etc anyway but we will all play together.

Maybe we can get a convoy of S2Ks there.....bring something like "hello kitty" seat covers to protect your leather and carpets.

I brought a change of clothes last time I went!

Some of my friends have been real flaky about this date so I have decided to cancel this event.

Damn. Well, I am up for a drive. Perhaps this would be the opportunity for a ride up/down the lake? And in the end we could stop at the bar of a certain hotel downtown. You're buying.
