bring chapstick. most people i know get dry cracked lips when exposed to the sudden change in elevation.
my sister lives there and uses that stuff like water.

be prepared for unexspected weather. it might be warmer then you think. 2 years ago i was there for christmas vacation and it was 70 degrees christmas morning. my brother and i did a few holes of golf that morning in T-shirts. this was in denver.

Good info. Thanks jeggy. I carry chapstick here snd plan on bringing many layers to hopefully account for varying conditions.

We will be staying in vail- hopefully we get some nice weather. I'd rather golf than ski lol

If you're going in your S2000, make sure you make it out to Breckenridge. There's some great driving out there if there's no snow or sand on the ground.

NYE Party is in Delhi this year at a 5 star hotel owned by a family friend.

Vail Village is nice - fun bars and nice restaurants. If you're skiing, spend your time in the Back Bowls or Blue Sky Basin. And FYI, your Vail lift ticket gets you access to Beaver Creek which is 15 minutes away (personally, I'd stay at Vail).

Vail is def very nice. I'll be out that way in two weeks in the Denver area for a ski trip. My friend that lives out there said it's been really warm in the Denver area recently so like Jeggy said be prepared for anything. Obviously the higher you go in the mountains it gets mighty freakin cold, but that's kinda common sense.

Have fun!! Careful with the S tho, had a guy in Indy just hit some black ice and put his into a pole (I believe) and totalled it out
