Default The cost to replace the clutch

Hopefully I wouldn't need to do this soon, but to get an idea of the cost has anyone had their clutch replaced lately ?

Just curious.

We just did Brian's clutch. I forgot exactly how much he paid because he got a starter rebuild too. I'm sure he'll pop in and say something.

Naw, its cool. We used a lift. Taking our time, it took 10 hours waiting around a lot. We could probably get it done in 6 or 7 now that we've got more practice.

Pinyo would you still charge book hour or just for the 3.5 hours of work. I really dont want to do this job in my garage but if Im faced with paying 600 bucks for the job then I will do it myself.

suterusu how did you get access to a lift?

Thanks
Martin

Ya, Pinyo. But we did it belly to belly laying on the garage floor.

The two times that I did it by myself it took me nearly 6 hours and then I even needed help to get the damn thing back in the spline.
hey harry, lets just keep the belly to belly thing on the downlow..
