Default to CR or not?

so i was at honda bloomfield today, and a sales rep named jason let me know that the CR they have in the show room in apex blue is down to 32k (saw i was in for an oil change on my 04 NFR). seems like a great deal on a limited production car, let alone how much i love them. though like many, i'm not a fan too much on the body kit, it is functional, and i like nearly all the upgrades from a base S. now i'm torn as to what to do. brand new CR vs sticking with my paid off 04.

what would u do?

I personally would never buy the CR, simply because it has no softtop. I also couldn't do w/o the radio and a/c, unless it was a dedicated track car and then I'd get something else, a Lotus.

Eh Tell him you'll take it at invoice minus the $2500 which should put you at $31,266.

Yes I'm a cheap bastard

it's hard to get rid of a car that's paid for.

Personally I don't like the CR. If you want it, go for it. But I wouldn't give up a paid off car for a car loan.

Really depends on what you are going to use it for. If you don't plan to track/autox it, I think it's a waste of money...especially if you have a paid off S anyway. That being said, if something happened to my paid off S2k, the CR would be on my short list. I saw a beginner do surprisingly well in a bone stock cr. I've always said that the S doesn't need to be modded to be a capable race car. The CR, on the other hand, seems to give it that extra umph.

It's really funny that you should say that because I drove by there on Wednesday early morning on my way up to Oakland County Circuit Court, and I noticed that those morons and Bloomfield Honda left that same Blue CR outside all night with it's top off and there was a ton of dew and moisture on all the cars because it was a chilly morning.
