You could always try and spy on the proving grounds of some of the major auto makers....unless that is why you are there already.

Dearborn has a nice strip of bars right off of Michigan Avenue (east of Telegraph)... there are about 10 nice resturaunts/bars to venture over there. Bailey's, Double Olive are two of the better "Bars"... other than that... Royal Oak is alright, so is Ferndale... Downtown... Actually... there is probably a nice diamond in the ruff in almost every surrounding city.

(I almost come off as a complete alcoholic, don't I !!??
