I read in one of the other threads that in 2006 they will be discontinuing the s2000. Anyone hear about that?

If so, what other car is going to be in replacement?

in case you're wondering, the S2000 has NOT been discontinued. it's simply the same ugly rumor that has ocurred since the s2000 came out. EVERY YEAR people post saying it's the last year of the S2k.

 

I heard that they were only going to be made for the year 2000.

I heard that after 2001 they were going to end production.

I heard that the 2002 was the last year for the S2000.

I heard that they were going to stop making S2000's after 2003.

I read on the internet that 2004 was absolutly the last year for the S2000.

I am pretty sure that 2005 will end the production of the S2000.

Wait? There will be a 2006 MY? When did that happen? Honda didn't advise ME of that decision!

 

I wish they had canceled it after 2001 so I didn't have to deal with all you pricks with newer cars.

They're going to put a 3.0L V6 with a 5 speed automatic in it for 2006, though.

 

They're going to replace it with the Del Sol.
