Default Drive Safe....

Remember everyone life is too short, please drive safe to and from shows and any other place you're traveling to. We don't need to lose anyone do to unfortunate events that could have been avoided. Drive smart, and drive safe...

Scroll down on the page to see everything there is quite a lot...

Sometimes I bite my tongue when people talk about the stuff they do on the street. Sometimes I'm a jerk and call people out - and it's stories like this that make me call people out.

I'll get on my high horse now and tell you all to take it to the track. I did some stupid stuff in my day, but I drive pretty conservatively on the street now. After every track day, I remember that driving at 100% on a track is 100x more fun and 100x safer than driving at 50% on the highway. Even if you know what you're doing, that doesn't mean the thousands of others around you do. Just because the road is dry doesn't mean there isn't an oil patch or some road kill a bit ahead. Just because there's no one around, doesn't mean you can't kill yourself. I felt safer this past weekend passing a corvette in a turn at 70mph than I did driving home next to some idiot in an charger at 70mph in a straight line. Driving with other people that are in full concentration and have taken serious time to learn to be better drivers on a road without cops, kids, or loose pavement is an experience that is relatively safe and very rewarding.

Yes, tracking your car is expensive, but the cost of it is nothing compared to what your life is worth. We all love to drive - if we didn't we probably wouldn't have an S2000. But street racing against an idiot that will run you into a tree isn't driving - it's wreckless, unnecessary, and stupid.
