Whats up umw....ive kinda made a face for myself coming to a few meets up here so some of you know who i am. Well I live in ottawa so im only ten miles from utica where jc whitney warehouse center is and there was a car show today. So i got in the S to follow my buddy in his 71 mach 1 mustang. Well i pull up to the gate and they asked if i wanted to enter so i though...ehh it was free the car was clean from the meet the day before so i said what the hell i registered and entered the sport compact section. Well its jcw so its ricer central and when i pulled up i came to tears laughing at the shit that was there. With no intentions of winning anything i pop the js hood like anyone will even know what js is popped the trunk to expose the bottle and left the car for the day. I sat at the other end of the show with the mustang i arrived with. Well the day went by and it was the end of the show and they were giving out the awards and all that shit so me and my buddy and his dad were sitting there...he ended up winning second in his class for the mach 1....so we grab the trophy and head back to his car to set it there and we get like ten steps and they say sport compact class winners are.........2001 s2000 in third place ryan blah blah blah come get your trophy, my buddy and i look at each other and are like WTF? So i walk up there and get this like two foot tall trophy and dropped it back off at my car which is full of business cards flyers and all kinds of free shit it was hilarious.......SO that is my story of my sunday afternoon and me winning my first trophy for a car related event....here is a pic of the trophy and what my car looks like....its basically stock with a few little mods....and btw its a nice ass trophy is pretty beefy hahaha....welll enjoy my laugh with my guys!

no i didnt have my camera with me, but it was BAD first was a toyota corolla with a sting theme....yea sting like the wrestler all black and white. The sting mask from the rear view mirror. Fiber glass on every panel on the car, a huge body kit. Same with second it was a 99 civic with every ricer part known to man! Lambo door, hood the tilts to the side, fiberglass interior, bone stock sohc motor hahahah, jcw white projector headlights.....it was rather entertaining

starved rock is over there...i just went a few weekends ago. unfortunately, the scenic route (US71?) was closed due to construction. so the drive there was not very fun. and we didn't find any waterfalls.

 

Starved Rock and a couple of other smaller parks are there. Utica is a small town right outside Starved Rock. Their claim to fame is every fall they host the Burgoo festival. Burgoo is stew served in a giant pot.

The best time to see waterfall is right when the snow starts melting, otherwise those waterfalls are more like water trickles.

dont eat the burgoo its umm gross hahaha....after 19 years of living here that is one thing i have learned haha, yea route 71 being closed is a kick in the balls for use locals, do to that is what half of ottawa takes to the college every mourning!
