Fall 2006 UBAB activity thread
I'm starting this thread so that there can be some discussion as for what people want to do, and how we are going to go about planning them.
Let start with food:
In the past, there's been a "food list" that people sign up for. However, it's usually up a good month before the UBAB. Seeing that we are only two weeks away, and we typically don't like waiting on the person who signed up for the hamburger and hotdog buns (who ends up showing late), I'll just ask everyone to pitch in between $5 - $10 for food.
I'll pick up hamburgers, hotdogs, buns, chips, sodas, ice, napkins, plates, forks, and some side salads (macaroni, potato).
Is there a request for anything else (brats, sausages, desserts, etc.)? I will not be supplying any kind of booze; however, I am not oppose to you bringing your own for yourselves or to share (just be responsible with who you share with).
day activities
Nothing new here. We'll socialize, eat, maybe help each other with simple stuff on the cars. I'd rather not turn this into a tech day, so I'll ask that we don't get into anykind of oil changes and such. However, if you have simple things to install (radar hardwire, audio, wing, hardtop, etc), then bring it.
...ALSO, I just caught word from Erich (the paintless dent removal KING....owns Dent Magic), that he may be able to stop by the UBAB earlier in the day 11:30-1. He can come earlier if there are enough people interested.
Once everyone gets their fill from eating, if the weather is decent and everyone is willing, we can go on our drive out to Lake Geneva (or if there's someplace else, we can go there). We'll stop off in a small town, and visit their candy/chocolate/ice cream shoppe....grab dessert!).
evening activities
We'll drive back to the house. For those that want to make a night of it, we'll break out the rest of the food and some firewood. We'll move to the backyard and put the small fire pit to use (think s'mores, and warmth). We'll also break out the liquor.
If you have any ideas or suggestions about the day, please post them up here. Thank you....see you guys in two weeks.

I just need to read these post more often.
I was still planning on coming down this weekend, till Ryan told me it changed.
Can't make it Oct 7th to the UBAB, but I will already be in Lake Geneva that day. So it is very possible I may be able to get together with you all if someone calls me that day. I am staying at the Abbey for the night. I may or may not have the S, depends on clothes.
The GF will be getting a massage at 4:00 so let me know that day whats up.
And NO you all can't crash in my room
