Ferarri 360 Modena Update
Still no baby yet but mother is doing well, probably better than the father at this point.
I talked to Greg who I work with and who was a passenger in the Ferrari on Sunday. I also showed him Hiro's very cool video and asked him about why the back-up lights come on just before the last left turn in the video. Greg told me that the transmission computer periodically recalibrates for 'driving style' and can be a bit twitchy when doing so. Apparently, that is what was going on just prior to the last left turn (at speed) in the video. He also indicated that this recalibration process can be a bit twitchy and in this case, just prior to that last left turn, the Ferrari was momentarily stuck in second gear. Apparently, you have to put the car in neutral to reset.
And, now you know the rest of the story.

Hi Mitch -- long time no hear!!
This "style calibration" is for an F1 (automanual paddleshift) tranny on the 360 Modena, right ??
BTW, do you still have the route info for the cool "country drives" you helped setup for NSXPO in 1998 ??
Happy VTECing...
