Can someone confirm if there was a Temp sensor in the OEM air box just at the start of the flexible tube (the portion that install to the throttle body) if your cars are equipped with this. Neither the Comptech S/C kit or the upgraded FMIC has anything for this.

If not please take pics of your OEM air box for me so I can compare to see what I need to do.

Thank you

Mike

Yea I actually have it installed. Got some misc parts on Wednesday and have it installed. Ill have to get something fabricated and welded eventually but this "should" work for now. I just dont like that its sits a little further out then it should but it will still get a reading. I have someone at work that does great welding work and fabrication. He actually made brackets for my Lexus that were incredible. So once I have it done I can just take that pipe off and get it done the right way.

whats interesting is the location between these. IMO it makes more sense were its located on the MY06+ since its reading air intake temp. I wonder if I did move it and just cap the inlet/outlet on the FMIC pipe how the car would respond

Mike,

Your guy at work, would he be willing to do something on the side? I have a project in mind that would require some welding and some fabrication.

Will tell you about it later this weekend.
