Fresh meat.
Before I went with the CAI, I definatly had heat-soak (which bogs the engine.) The CAI eliminates that problem. Also if you try to launch the car and don't launch hard enough you can bog the engine (of course if you launch too hard you can blow up the rear end.) I know I am not very good at it so I never hard-launch my S2000.
Banjo Oil Jet Bolt (4-hole Bolt): In June 2002 there was a recall initiated in the Netherlands for both loose spark plugs and engine cooling / lubrication. This recall then continued to all the other European countries and England. The plug recall TSB was announced in the US July 10, and upgrades started mid-August. However, to date there

1.)Car covers who uses them, and what would be a good one?
~ I use it all the time but the car stays in the garage. Basically a car cover, buy an all weather waterproof if you are leaving it outside.
2.)Who stores their car in the winter and where?
~ Mine gets put away after the first snowstorm. I store it in my garage with car cover and winterized.
3.)Any advice and things you would do over again if you were to re-buy?
~No not really, I bought on the last day of the year which would of made it a left over. I got a killer deal. I put down a decent downpayment and got a 3.49% yearly rate.
Just remember not to get into debt with a car like this. Enjoy.

BTW -- Dezoris, don't worry. Damon (Shift_9k) and I are just playing. It's fun to
him, you'll get used to it, and soon start in too.
Wow, great list dlq. The only thing that I read that I did not agree with was:

The cover is vinal. Some people get hung up on this so I just wanted to clarify.

Great info, I will almost 100% look for a 2002 if I can afford it. So that what they call softening the suspension?
Reducing spring rates in the front and beefing up the rear for more oversteer? I thought the car gets loose as it was?
As far as the banjo bolts go I assume I can find the full engine code stamped somewhere?
Where do they stamp it on the F20C?

Don't worry I am the boggy street start master, slow as dirt.
I don't think I ever dumped the clucth at high RPMs on any car unless I was pissed off.
Well at least on my Civc rice master, if I drop the hammer above 4000RPMs all I do is slip the shit out of the clutch. Smells like burnt cornbread.

To correct the problem, Honda changed the bolt design. It was widely reportedly, and Honda began installing the new design bolts after engine F20C 1102 5386; however, a Florida owner inspected his engine F20C 1102 5376 only to learn he had the updated bolts installed already.
