I just got back from lunch...drove top down. The car is parked in the work parking lot with the top down.

I sit down, check my email and such, and then my boss comments to me, "I saw you take off with the sun beating down your neck."

I say , '"yup...and loved every minute of it, in fact, I'm going back out for a break while you go to your meeting."

He replies, "Look, I just checked the forecast and it's 77 degrees right now. Why don't you finish what you're doing and just take off?"

So here I am now, waiting for my Outlook to finish sync-ing and for this damn "BEST MOTORING" video to finish d/l-ing.

I am so out of here and will be taking the longer, but faster way home!!!

Damnnn, I have to work from 5 pm till 8 pm.....at least I had whole morning off, so I could cruise around.

 

...'Twas a wonderful drive. I just got home. I feel so high right now....for my cruise, I took off my wedding ring and my work shirt (avoid weird sun lines).

Oh man was it an awesome drive, I drove thorugh Wauconda, Island lake, Round lake, Cary, Crystal Lake, and then some of the Algonquin/Huntley back roads.

I am now home wanting to take a nap....
