Default Which gas do you run?

The title's basically it... does anyone have a reason for why they run a certain brand / company? Is there a big difference between V-power and Ultimate?

Would anyone recommend Citgo / 7-11 / Sam's Club gas? (It's a bit cheaper, but you get what you pay for right?)

Let's hear it.

I usually stick to the ones on this list:

Top Tier Gas

After getting the tour of the BP facility put together by a then local owner a handful of years ago, I ONLY use BP in all my cars.

If I had a true beater car, I'd use Dominick's, Meijer, Jewel, Speedway, etc. brand gas.

I've been using BP off someone's recommendation...might be Luder's. Thinking of switching to shell if only because they made the best commercial ever.

Didn't see BP on the top tier gas list Unless they go by a different name.

I try to Shell only. Unless I get caught somewhere with a near empty trunk & need to refuel fast...

Shell, BP, Mobile, in that order of preference.

They do cost a bit more than the "quicky-mart" type stores but my reasoning is this. The higher end gas stations will have a higher turn-over rate of premium gas than the other stores giving me a better chance at fresher gas.

I have not done any milage (between brands) or real dyno testing but my cars (S2000, FX35, STI) all "seem" to run smoothest/strongest on Shell.

I will not buy Citgo because they are wholelly owned by the Venezuelan's and they are giving the US crap right now.

Not many BPs in my area of Milwaukee, so I usually stick to Mobile, If I am in a big hurry I will use Speedway which I believe is part of the KwikTrip Network. Plus the Speedway by me is super busy with a lot of BMWs and Land Rovers (the three dealerships on the road fill up there) so the turn-over is pretty high.

I use whatever the neighbor fills his car up with - silly bugger should have a lock on his gas cap with people like me around.
