I try to attend a German Park Picnic at least once a summer (German beer by the buckets is enough of a draw for me). I wasn't sure I'd be able to make this month's picnic because of some other plans, but now my schedule has cleared up. Here's an article all about German Park Picnic:

There are some roads in the area of the picnic that might be fun for a short group drive. Sam, Laurens and I checked out some of that area during our "polar bear" drive this past winter. The park is open between 4-11 p.m. If there is any interest we can meet up in the Ann Arbor area around 2 p.m., drive around for a bit, and then head over to the park for some beer and some grub.

I have some non-s2k friends attending, but they certainly will welcome some/alot of additional partiers. (It's a great place for a large group)
