I have only been to GLD once, and the Z06 is stock.

I was getting 14.4s in my Trans Am. My clutch was slipping like a MOFO (it has been replaced now) and I was not powershifting at all.

I now have a MUCH nicer than stock clutch, and a short shifter on it. Should be able to put down some high 13s now with an all-stock motor. I will bring that one up sometime, but not this time. I still have some work to do to get it ready for the season.

I want to go, but don't want to break an axle and end up not being able to go to FWT....

We'll see how the weather holds up.

For now,

I'm off to Arizona.

i was plannin on goin on may 30 or 31st. they're usually closed on mondays, but will be open 4 memorial day. last time i went on a monday was labor day, and there were BARELY any cars there. after each pass, not even 5 minutes and you're already back @ the tree! i totalled 9 runs (with the potential of running MUCH more). i think maybe cuz ppl dont know its actually open 4 memorial day (being that they're usually closed on mondays). i unfortunately can't make it on fri being it's my anniversary w/ my girl. anyone down on memorial day? and is there anyone expecting 2 run 13.5 or faster?

no i work memorial day.

i dont think i'll break faster than 13.5. but i want to get a ride in your car sometime becuase I have the 4.57 gears and also plan on getting the comptech. i'd love to see how fast it feels and what the power is like!

i know you mentioned the 13.5 rule in a convertible without a roll cage, but i've never seen GLD say anything or post anything anywhere about it. plus the S2000's roll bars are considered safe enough for the road racing committee's i dont see why it'd be any different for NHRA. dirty bastards
