Sorry to hear that man. S02's are amazing in the dry but damn scary in the wet.

Ouch! Sorry to hear of anything bad happening to any S2000, especially Silverstone ones.

I hope everyone is OK. Good luck with the insurance.

ive always made fun of guys sweating the s02's in the rain.

then one day i was driving from MN to MKE and hit a major monsoon....Around Aug. I still had pretty signficiant tread left, had never had any problems or anything. I'm going STRAIGHT down the freeway at around 60 and the back end was just jumping all over the place. I ended up pulling over on the shoulder because it was so bad, I thought maybe I had a slow flat or something. Nothing. Ended up taking it about 25mph for 30 mins on the shoulder until the rain stopped and the river went away!

so i feel you pain and totally get the s02 being poor in the severe conditions. Hope it works out for you

which reminds me of a dry morning during early fall last year on S02s. i was slowly pulling out of a gas going making a right turn going about o... 4mph. looped the car in the middle of roosevelt. really embarrassing and gave my sphincter an excellent good workout.

btw IceS2000, did geico total the car? i hope so...

BFG KDW v.2

Not amazing dry but you dont really lose any traction when it gets wet outside. Borat says " very nice, how much"
