Default got lucky.

My friends and I decided to go cruising last night.
We left out before it started raining and even washed our cars...it seemed like clouds have passed and it wasnt going to rain.

On the way to streets of woodfield we had a little fun as usual, stopped by strabucks, grabbed some coffee...
We left starbucks around 11:20 when it stopped pouring outside and we're heading home.
I was making a left from woodfield (I think it is) to get on the highway ramp.
Taking it easy in the rain, I upshifted all the way to 6th, and got to about 58-60mph...thats when all of a sudden the front nose just slid to the right and made a smooth 1080...This happened right before the entrance to the ramp where there is three lanes, bringing me from the left lane to the center lane...It surprised me that even though I countersteered almost right away, the car just kept on sliding in the same direction. There were no car around, except my friends who were driving behind me and and suv behind them...the car behind me was able to move to the left as I was spinning, and as the other cars passed, I was already on the other lane..Luckily nothing happened, and I guess it's time for new tires..

Your correction didn't help much because your front was hydoplaning. The tires were "floating" on the thin layer of water on the road and offered you no control at all. There is nothing that makes you feel more helpless.

1080?!?!?!? That's three complete spins around? Whoa, dude that's a lot!

It may be time for new tires, but the S02's are very poor in the rain.

Thanks for the reminder to be extra-super-duper careful in the rain.
