Are they reputable?

I didn't have any personal experience with Grand Honda, but I heard they advertise the lowest price and when you get there....they play the number game.

I bought my car from Honda of Joliet and I was satisfied with their service. Honda of Lisle is also their dealership.

 

I got my 99 Odyssey from them, and while extremely happy with the car, I will never buy another from them. The only reason we wound up there was because it was the end of the 99 model year and they were the only dealer in the state with Odysseys. I've never paid more than 3% over cost (not sticker) but these guys worked me every way they could. Pressure tactics, switching up on the finance, etc. I walked in there with a wife and a 1 month old baby and they basically picked my up by both feet and proceeded to shake every coin from my pockets, and THEN they took the lolly pop out of my baby's mouth.

They suck ass.

I've bought a 00 prelude and my 04 s2k from s'burg (rohrman), and have been extremely happy w/ the sales experience (I paid less than the internet price for my s2k, and 4% interest.) They were also very fair when I sold my prelude back to them. And when my Oddy needed tranny work, they replaced the whole shebang AND gave me a free enterprise car for the 4 days they had my van. Supersatisfied with them - would almost (ALMOST) feel safe sending my mother there to do business without me to escort her. I wouldnt do that with any other dealer, ever.

 

I've delt with Grand two times. The first time they were complete asses!

The scond time was just last month I leased an new Pilot. The were playing the number games, and so was I. In the end I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted, and they sold another car.

Honda of Lisle, I've delt with them on so many times and I've never bought from them. I kinda use them as a baseline. I go in, talk with a salesperson, get there price, and then I know the MOST I'll pay for the car. Then I go someplace else.

I learned if you don't take shit from a salesperson, they stop playing games REAL fast.

BTW - I'm buying a Element from Honda of Joliet Friday night. I've been dealing with the sale manager, Lou Tornabeni. He's a great guy.

 

On another note, we Have a member that works in the Service Dept. at Honda of Lisle. Contact Mike York and he will make sure your car is well taken care of. He always did for me.
