Nobody was hurt in the accident. I was doing about 65 mph on the Beltline for those of you who know Madison, and there was an accident just up ahead on the road. The SUV in front of me stopped, I was looking at mering into another lane, and I ended up hitting him. I was on the doughnut, though I doubt a real tire would have made much of a difference. I remember noticing the SUV had stopped, so I slammed on the brakes. ABS doesn't work on the car, so the wheels locked up. I remember thinking that I need to release the brake and swerve in order to avoid hitting them. I know I swerved, but I don't think I let up on the brake. I ended up getting a ticket for unsafe lane change.
