Default Help?

Hey I've not posted in this section even tho I have owned my s2000 for a year. I am planning to boost it and I know it is a long shot but I was hoping someone in the Omaha NE or Des Monies IA or even Kansas City MO area would let me drive or even ride in their turbo'd or supercharged s2k. I know driving it is asking a lot I would be content to ride in it. Thanks for your time if you can help me just pm me.

Sorry man, I don't think I know anyone in those areas with a boosted S, if you are even in Chicago tho, there are plenty of us here.

I can however tell you that it's a blast to drive, I have been Supercharged for about 8 years and never looked back, except when I'm racing people

IMO it's what the S was missing from the factory. Being Supercharged, it's not super crazy, and the power is there when you need it, doesn't change too much how the car feels.

What are your goals? what are you looking for in a kit? power, reliability, maintenance, will you be installing yourself?

Don't forget that some kits require a little more supporting mods than others

I'm mostly lookin for around 400whp with reliability. I think I would like a turbo better than SC. O and ya I would like to install and do maintenance myself because thats how you learn.

Have you looked at any specific kits? or plan to piece one together? most kits should get you there with no problems, except the Greddy kit

I remember when turbo and reliability couldn't be used much in the same sentence, not so much the case now. Sorry can't be of much help, maybe try the FI forum and see if anyone in there is local to you. You can also try the UMW FB page.
