Default Help a "bruder" out!

Hello boys and girls! I'm looking for a body shop around Naperville & Downers Grove area. Some where close to me. I live in Naperville. If nothing from those 2 areas any recommendations? I wanna paint my HT from Berlina black to Silverstone and also shave my front emblem. I was quoted by a "FRIEND" $550 total which I think is kinda pricey. Thanks.

for a good paint job and the shaved emblems, i'd say thats not all too bad. the HT will have to b sanded, preped, and painted. any step goes wrong and the results will suck. also, dont forget clear coat as well.

pay for a quality job, don't save on a shitty one

Why are you painting the ht? I think it looks good with a berlina top.

Chuck Owens Auto body on rt 25 south of Butterfield. They've done good work for me in the past.

Black hardtop on any color car =

Or, wait for a silverstone hardtop to go on sale and sell your berlina top. Buying/trading hardtops will probably come out even, and you'll $ave on paint.

But if you're going to paint it. $550 doesn't sound bad. If you're shaving emblems and don't run a front pate, have them shave the license plate holes too.

Thanks for the complements. I bought the HT from a member last year and the top was originally gpw and who ever painted it black didn't really do a good job. It's prolly a 7 scale. I just purchased a new weather strips for it I wanna get it painted for fresh new look for next year.
