Help---Speaker install question!
All,
just a general question... I have an 03 .
Is there a crossover built in the OEM unit which splits to the OEM tweeter and woofer?
Or is there a dicrete crossover hidden somewhere?
I was about to install Polk db6500 components and wasn;t sure how I should wire up the crossovers that came with it?
1. Do I run the woofer wires to the crossover, or do I need to find where the OEM crossover is and replace that?
I'm a little confused so any advice would help ASAP!!!!!

Can I just run the main speaker wire to the crossover, and leave the orginal tweeter connector dis- connected?

No, it's that Daman is soooooooo young. The freakin; punk.
Didn't I answer this question for you last weekend? The x-over is a resister that is built into the woofer on the stock setup. Just wire up your x-over to the stock wiring and run the speakers off of the x-over.

Not sure if that make a difference in the OEM setup for power transfer, and I know at RF frequencies that I work at, matching impedence is very critical. I guess for audio, it's not......
