Default INVIDIA N1 SINGLE to loud?

So I'm looking to get a Invidia N1 single exit exhaust but from what people are saying is that its way to loud that you will go deaf or need to use earplugs. Is this really that bad? And if it is would a universal silencer do anything? I got a K&N FIPK intake and test pipe. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I've heard this is loud, but not as loud as the J's 70RR. I have that and that is freaking loud. Wake up my neighbors for sure.

If you're looking at an invidia exhaust, I would definitely suggest one of their dual-tip models. IMO, the singles are obnoxiously loud without having an enjoyable tone.
