Gee, you are really hooked on it, aren't you? I will go to some local AutoX this year. But, Oscoda are just too far away to drive and not to drive competitivly. We should defintely assemble a bigger crowd to go to AutoX. This should be fun.

Yup I'm addicted. Actually, it's the fact that I've been waiting a couple of years to finally have a car that would do decently in an autocross!

I agree, the local events are more fun and will attract a much bigger crowd.. Sometimes I like to take a drive just for fun, thats why I was thinkin of heading up to Oscoda

Hey Keith

Thank you (and Perry) for driving your cars to the Solo II last Monday. It was great to watch them on course during the final heat. I'm the guy with the red Prelude that cornered you in the parking lot with all the questions. Your enthusiasm for the S2000 did nothing but reinforce my belief that I chose the right roadster to wait for! Hope to see you at the next SCCA event on July 4th. Maybe I'll have mine by then! One can hope!

Opps! Wrong date in that last post. Brain fade. What I meant to say was I hope to see you at the next SCCA event on June 24th.

I won't be going to the one on the 24th, I'll be attending the event on the 10th though! I'll edit the top post here to reflect which events people think they might attend..

Anybody else interested in going on the 10th? John? Perry?

It is at Great Lakes Crossing mall, in the "Bus Lot", which seems to be 1/2 way between Joslyn and Baldwin on the west side of the mall.

Tech/registration runs from 9:30-2:00

Cost is $25 if you arent a member of a council club, $20 if you are, and $15 if you are a MSCC member.

If any of the Ann Arbor crew would like to go.. we can meet at Starbucks at 8:15. If anyone else wants to join the caravan on the way up, we can set up a meeting place somewhere along Telegraph Rd. to pick you guys up.

Let me know The more the merrier

Hey, Keith -

Are you all set for Waterford on Thursday? My friends and I are thinking going to Gingerman on Thursday afternoon. We leave Ann Arbor around 2:30PM. It is from 5 'til dark in South Haven. That is at least another 4 hours seat time for $50.

Anybody?

I'm almost ready. I got tech inspected up at Munk's on Saturday. Tomorrow my R4S brake pads should arrive and I'll install them along with bleed out the system with ATE SuperBlue tomorrow evening!

Should be fun! You coming to the AutoX on the 10th?

Thanks, Keith. I won't be able to do too much AutoX during the summer time. I will be concentrating more on Open Track days and Driving Schools. I am sure I will join you sometime during the weekends. Please post more AutoX dates. I am just lazy to find out myself. I will post more track days and see who is interested in it.

Have fun in AutoX this weekend. Have a safe run in Waterford, too. Don't run too hard in Swamp Turn. I have seen several cars wrecked there. Say hi to several people for me. I am sure Jeff Amos will give you a pretty good instruction in class room.
