Not a new member here but I just picked up a job at NAVISTAR in Lisle, IL. I was born up here and have lots of family up here so I'm not TOTALLY new to the area... but the car is new to the area. :P
About the car:
2000 AP1
214k miles (and counting)
Comptech N1200 kit- aftercooled, Comptech airbox, 3.6" pulley (Might be 3.4... I forget...), 17.8 psi, upgraded heat exchanger, Cobra pump.
Walbro 255
ID1000s
AEM EMS V2
AP2 retainers and oil jets
ACT pressure plate, stock clutch/Flywheel
Test pipe
Tanabe Medallion Concept G exhaust
blah blah blah...
My build thread is severely out of date but you're welcome to browse through some of the finer details.
I'm in the Lombard area if anyone needs a hand or to just grab some food.
Winter plans:
SOS throttle body.
Clean up the ports on a spare intake manifold and powdercoat it.
PLM header Coated with Swain-Tech's White Lightning coating.
Radium Engineering fuel rail and everything to hook it up.
Work on lowering IATS and heat soak (Just cut hood vents into a spare hood as a start).
ABS/ driver's side wire harness relocation.
Have Josh (AP1Chief) keep tweaking my tune.
Cleanup wiring and anything else I can think of while I'm not driving it.
Powdercoat the aftercooler/intake/some brackets
Get some more fresh air to the air filter.
Thanks!

Reason: addition
Welcome back. I'm also going to be working on AIT and temps in the spring. I don't have a plan of attack at the moment.
I had my new PLM header White-Lightening coated by Swain-tech, having some stuff powdercoated, and gonna work on getting some more fresh air to the filter. I also cut vents in the hood to release some soak.
