Saleen Cobra is fast as hell...made me go 145 in my car down 355. sorry, got caught on spirit of the moment deal... . Saleen was peeling out at 60+mph.... .

It was a good experience other than my fender lining got caught by my tires and got torn off.... . I guess it wasn't secure enough at that speed...=). Besides, my rubbing problem didn't help either...

As for my buddy's stock 06 STI, I was amazed how I did against it. I took off first and STI stood way back and couldn't gain at all. The top end seems to be pretty weak...

Time for wide fenders and nos to compensate more power w/my sc.

BTW, I've met the judge you see when you get a ticket on 355. If there's ANY ticket you don't want, it's one that will land you in his courtroom. For your high speed enjoyment, if you're bound and determined to run on a stretch of highway known for revenuing, try I-55 south of Springfield. The troopers are thick there as here, but they know they're out there to make money, and the judge is understanding of speedlust. Last I was there, it was $295, no supervision, no lecture, and we'll be glad to see you and your pocketbook as often as you like.

 

dude, what if a piece of rock just happened to jump from the other lane? At that speed that's a combined velocity of the rock at around 200 mph. at that rate, it'll pierce right through your windsheld and through your skull. it'll twirl inside your head taking a huge chunk of your brain with it. not only would you die instantly, your car would be a 2500lb rocket taking out everything in its path.
