You should really look into getting a set of new shocks too. Unless you go really mild with like an Eibach prokit. But even then, you may have to swap out the shocks a year or so down the road.

I wouldn't think twice on new car's struts. But on a car with decent mileage(not sure of Amul's mileage), I would think it would just be more prudent to swap the shocks out at the same time. If I had 20-30K already on stock shocks I don't think I'd ever want to put lowering springs(agressive ones at least) on stock shocks. I would think anything 1.3 in or less would be ok, but once you start getting into the 1.5 to 2 inch range I think you'd end up putting a lot of strain on the shock. I'm sure some people are fine, and there are some people who's shocks go out. I think itd just be more of a pain to do(pay for) the labor again a bit down the road. Besides if the car is going to be a long timer, then why not invest in some konis. I mean springs you can find them pretty cheap these days anyhow.

Ehhh....I can do a spring swap from lifting the car to getting the car dropped back down within 2 hours. When I'm on a roll, I can do it in 1.5 hours (mind you, that's without a lift, and using proper techniques to properly torque all the suspension bolts).

The only cost would be a bottle of Jack Daniels and lunch. Essentially, if his struts go out quickly, and I haven't finished the bottle of Jack yet, then the added "cost" to throwing on new struts would be another lunch.

I would like to report that I had nothing to do with Amul's mod bug.... He just asked some questions thats all..... I swear!

By the way... If all goes well... You'll have your Injen intake this weekend also... Not that I have anything to do with this.....
I think after the springs and intake, I may call it quits. The guys at work think I'm going through an early 30's crisis(if it exists). Then again, those same guys play Xbox video games. They also have kids.

I'm not feeling the chrome look at this moment. Maybe I may change my mind in a couple days.
