May Move Back To MN
Very outside chance I will be moving back to MN. When I lived in Plymouth (for about 4 years) I drove a TransAm with snows on all 4 wheels. It did just fine. I purchased the S when I lived in MN. What I need to know is does anyone drive their S all year? If the answer is yes then I would like to avoid buying a beater to drive from Nov to March. If necessary I would rather sell the S here in TX. I think I would get a better price. Any thoughts are appreciated.
Sorry I can't really help you much, since I don't drive my S all year. I have two other cars that I use in the winter. It's not that the car can't handle the snow...it's that I hate the salt they put on the road.
I believe there's a guy by the name of MNTony, he drives his all year round and has snow tires for the winter months. He's from Rochestor, MN so you may want to check with him.

Yes, I drive year round with Blizzaks on in the winter. The car does wonderfully in snow, and it's fun to intentionally spin. We haven't had a huge snowfall in the two winters I've had the S, but I would think a 10" or so snow might make things a little more difficult - really, a ground clearance issue.
Otherwise, the S2000 with winter tires is at least as good as my old Civic with all-seasons. Probably better. Definitely more fun.
