Ok, well the way i see it is, you might need to get a new insurance company, because i've never heard of that!
I have AAA and i pay 1,300 for my 2000 Acura tl 3.2 and i pay 1,400 for the S2000 for the year and i have all my insurance premiums maxed, and my deductable is $250!!

So you need to shop around, there are a lot of discounts that you can get from AAA , like if you belong to a credit union you get like 20 % off and multiple car discount and age discount if you are over 25 or 30, etc...

My insurance through AAA is about the same and you also get a discount for having a platinum credit card for what ever reason that matters?

$250 deductible
maxed coverage

for my wife and I to drive all our cars - 10k miles per year on each

2004 S2000
2004 Jeep Liberty
1997 Dodge Avenger

Total - $1100/ 6 months - FOR ALL 3

Through JEEP insurance

FYI - state farm wanted $2k for all 3 cars.

ProV1, clearly you must have some negatives on your driving record. My rate for the S2000 is $714 yr.

Clue: My youngest daughter is older than you.

Some days I feel like I'm 25 but lately I'm feeling much older . . . but not much wiser.

2nd Clue: I'm collecting Soc. Sec.

I have just turned 26 and at AAA I am paying $1440 a year for max on everything. $250 deductable on collision. $500 deductable on glass/vandalism, and that is with no tickets ever and since I have had a CDL class A for four years with no accidents or traffic violations I am considered to be a safe driver.
