Mid Michigan S2000's?
Cirrently live in DFW, TX. Lots of S2000's here, but don't see many when visiting mid michigan.
Any owners on this board from that area?

Welcome to Michigan hrhgoldwing! You'll have to look out for some meets organized by DERF on the west side of the state or myblueheaven over here in the Detroit area if you want to see a few other S2ks. My sister just moved to Houston,TX and I hear from her that there are a ton of S2ks down there (they're pretty rare in Michigan).

Welcome to the Great Lake State. You are not really in the snow belt, but get ready to put a good set of snow tires on or store it away!

^ Snow tires are a must if you plan on driving your S in the Winter.
Mid Michigan dumps 21 Tons of Salf for every lane mile of highway. So most S2000 owners in Michigan will store their S for the Winter.
There are about a Dozen or more of us in the Michigan area who get together for different events and get togethers thru out the year. Some of us will travel many Hundreds of miles to play in the Smokie Mountains or attend events in Detroit or Chicago.
I will try to put together Two Poker Runs each year in the Kalamazoo area. It's really a Great Town with many inland lakes and tree covered roads. We also have more Safe Twisties to play on than most of the State of Michigan. We run hard in the Summer and tend to take it a little slower in the Fall to enjoy the Fall Colors.
Our next Poker Run event is next weekend and the Fall Colors should be Outstanding as long as we don't get a Huge Storm that Blows away all the Awesome Colors before this Saturday.

Thanks for the great welcome. I grew up on Owosso area, and am "retiring" soon for the second time. Retired from the Air Force several years ago, and ready to really slow things down now and enjoy the toys. I know, who the hell retires to Michigan!!!
Did a Great Lakes tour on the Gold Wing this summer up and around Lake Superior and just missed that part of the country. Have survived many winters there, and the S2000 will most like spend the winter in a heated garage. Have a pickup to drive in winter.
Saw the posts for the Poker Runs and would be at the next if I wasn't in Texas. Spend most of my time travelling, mostly international, so time at home is precious to get work caught up. Was in North Carolina two weeks ago riding the Smokies and Blue Ridge Parkway on the Wing. But sure missed the S2000 on those roads. Will join you anytime for a run down there!
Again, thanks for the warm welcome. Look forward to seeing you next Spring. (Gotta spend one more winter in Texas)
