Popping out of gear is not really normal wear and tear, unless maybe you have very high miles on it. The vibrating could certainly be a motor or trans mount. Hope that helps. If I were you, I'd check my mounts very closely.

im thinking about coming down in a week on a saturday, i also just had a problem with my car going into first and popping out and making a huge thumping noise.. im thinking it might be an issue with the tranny but ill have you take a look at it.. so i give you a call at the shop

and another question.. so i took out my factory radio to add a ipod adapter and i didnt put in the code and moved my car and tried to move it up and then it made that noise was curious if the code could cause my car to not be function? and it wouldnt break either
