Default Midwest Track Data & Lap Times

I thought it would be helpful if we came together as a region and posted any data or lap times we have from the local tracks so that we can all learn from each other and improve our lap times or just have fun. I saw a lot of this talk in the WMHM10 thread and thought we could use a central location for this info.

I moved here 1.5 years ago and I have only been to Grattan and Waterford Hills. I hope to be to Gingerman, Autobahn and others, too. I also hope to be running in NASA TT next year (if I am still in the area).

Post your setup, lap time and any other relevant details. Data logs would be great. Here are my best lap times.

Track: Grattan - May 2009
Car: 2002 S2000
Mods: Tein SRC coilovers (16 kg/mm springs F and R), T1R 70-EM single exhaust, x-brace, 225/245 Yokohama AD07 Tires on 17x7.5 and 17x8.5 wheels
Lap Time: 1:37.7
Data Logger: Racelogic Performance Box
Notes: First time at Grattan

Track: Waterford Hills - July 2010
Car: 2002 S2000
Mods: Moton ClubSport Dampers (650F/800R lb/in springs), T1R 70-EM single exhaust, 255 Yokohama A048 Tires on 17x8.5 AP1 V1 rear wheels all around
Lap Time: 1:23.2
Data Logger: Racelogic Performance Box
Notes: Second time at Waterford Hills

This is a great idea Derek, I've been to several OTDs, but was never much for timing myself. Although, at WMHM, Phill showed me a neat little app he downloaded for his phone and it inspired me to do the same.

I tried it out for the first time over lunch today.

Track: My block
Car: 2002 Audi A4 3.0 QS
Lap Time: 1:23:16
Notes: hard rain, first use of lap timer

Can't wait to actually try this out at an actual track.

Best lap is the first lap in this video:

And on my last lap of the same session I did this in Turn 2:

I have it under control for a few moments. After that I'm
along for the ride. It felt like the rear tires had turned to butter.

Damn matt - I'd like to say I knew you when you sucked, but you really never did! Nice lap!

I hard reset my phone loosing all my data from Autobahn south and Gingerman new. Time can be confirmed on mylaps.com for Autobahn, you'll have to take my word for Gingerman...have video somewhere.

Autobahn south I hit 1:38.9xx (225 Hoosier R6 all around, comptech sway bar on full stiff). Cobalt Friction XR2/XR5. Top speed = 106.

New gingerman test and tune i hit 1:47.8xx on 255 Hankook RS3 all around with comptech bar on full stiff. Cobalt Friction XR2/XR5. There's a lot more out there. My semi-BS excuse is that it rained the past few days and there was no rubber on the road left. Top speed = 109.

Are we still doing this?

Track: Gingerman (new long) Race Direction - 9/5/2011
Car: 2005 S2000

Lap Time: 1:46.0
Data Logger: Traqmate
