So, just got my celica back from getting the trani replaced at my dads.

Noticed a bunch of clunking,scraping, and griding from the front.

Took it into the shop and had em look at it. Turns out the trani, balljoints, axles/cv's, and wheel bearings are all shot.

YOu can grab the axel and move it up and down about an inch, not in and out, up and down! Wheel bearings are grinding, CV's are popping, axle has very slight curve in it.

So, nonetheless, the car is screwed.

Went to dealer, they said i might be able to get a 8-11k loan just by myself. Trying to get step dad to cosign so i can get an 02/03 (Glass window). Dealer is gonna try to talk my car up, interior and exterior are almost immaculate, so i dont have to put much down.

What color are you looking for? I have an '02 NFR with 18,5xx miles on it. I've been thinking about putting it up for sale.

The only mod it has is the K&N FIPK.

Id prefer a GPW or NFR, but dealer just got a 00' silverstone in and im going to see what he can do for me.

As for the write off, i dont really need it, im sure i can sell it to another Celica enthusiast in the area.

 

How much would you want for the Celica?

 

500~ bucks. Was my winter car, did amazing job, with cheap walmart douglas tires.
