Default Milwaukee Tech Day

Good morning

This is actually K1ngfunK speaking vicariously through Charlie's post. Despite things coming up, due to the obvious amount of interest, this is still most definitely happening tomorrow, September 25.

Andy (Scrapdog) has offered the use of his house for this. The only caveat is we are limited to working on one car at a time in his garage, but based on what needs to get done, I don't think this will be a problem, especially if we work together on the one car. He's also going to have a grill going, but asks for people to bring whatever food and drinks they'd like to eat / drink. Everyone on the list will get a PM from him with the exact address and time people can start showing up.

ANDY
***I also DO NOT have many tools avail so if someone could bring some standard tools. Sorry I just moved and have not replenished them .. Also for those intrested I will cook breakfast again (i think most liked it last time ) The garage is very well spaced 2 1/2 car and has plenty of lighting. Hope to see you all there.
This will start @ 10 am as I have seen this to be a successful start time ...

If you decide to make it out at the last-minute without getting a message, either PM Andy or myself, or you're also welcome to call / text me (Garrison, K1ngfunK) on my cell at 2 one se7en - 4 3 zer0 - 4 3 six two

I should be good for that, but I will verify with the higher power.

Have tools, will travel.

The only catch is that September 24th appears to be a Saturday... so I'm assuming the 25th?

I don't have definite plans for that weekend, so if there's a tech day, I will make it a point to be there. You find a location, I'm there. Who knows, possible Safe House trip afterward...?

Ahh yes, I see-- I was looking at my 5-day-week work calendar; looked at the last day as Friday and assumed that was Saturday. Event updated...

Thanks Garrison!

I'm sure we could do something else that night but, personally, I'm getting a little sick of the Safe House-- MKE has much more to offer. That said, I'd certainly not be opposed.

No problamo. I'm not against new things, just throwing it out there as a thought.

BTW, I have a pretty major project that could likely be an all-day thing. Pat is going to need to help me, as he is one of the few who has done it before, but if possible I'd like to do this at the tech day. If it is a possibility, I might try to get up there earlier for said task.

Surely, shirley! I'd be happy to kick-off whenever.

I think that, if we can get Sam and Holly over to our side of the pond, it's worth putting down in pen. I'll find a spot for sure and let's consider this a go.
