when I was at college in the UK, I lived in SE London and had an apartment that
(unfortunately) was in the flight path of Concorde. Seeing that thing fly over at a low height is something that makes you just stand in awe.

I've been in one but never flown. I was amazed at how cramped it was, especially given the price to ride.
When I lived in Oshkosh the Concorde came to the EAA every 2-3 years. I'd sit about 100' off the tarmac and it was awesome to watch on take off and landing.
