Thanks guys! Yeah that was kinda quick. The dealership found a couple Silverstones, but they were not in the greatest of shape and had over 50k miles on them. I thought the SB car was in "can't pass up" condition.

Hopefully I'll have the parts installed on Saturday at PB's shop. Otherwise maybe Friday morning?

Seriously looking at Spoon monoblocks, Spoon rotors, and some wheels to go with them, but having touble finding a set that I both like and will fit.

There are some other things I'll be reserching to put on too.

So did you make money on this deal?

Was your totaled car an 04? and did it have more than 9K miles?

I think you can out like a champ on the deal.......BUT you will have to wait and see how much your premium goes up for a few years.

No, I didn't make money on the deal. The junked car was an '03 and it had just under 78,000 miles on it. So looking at it from that perspective, yeah I did come out like a champ. I still have to replace the wheels and tires, which won't be cheep.

My insurance will go up something like $70-$80 per six months or something like that is what my agent said. I'll have to see exactly what though.

You wasted no time getting back on the saddle. Congrats on the new purchase. You got a very nice color, IMHO.

Congrats - I drive past David Hobbs a few times a week that couldn't have been on the lot more than a week, I only saw it once. Hope to see you at a meet soon.
