ok, so i'm not that familiar with the area, but ive tried desperately to find a skimboard to no avail, if anyone knows where i can find one, pleeeease let me know. TIA

 

I'm not sure if you plan on doing that here, but I have never seen anyone skimboard in Chicago. The waves (if that's what you call it) rarely extend far enough onto the beach to give you anything to work with.

I'm pretty sure nobody carries skimboards in the area, but you can definitely purchase one online. Anyway, if you do decide to give it a try, let me know how it works out. Good luck.

 

I don't know if you've tried Shred Shop in Skokie. They usually have stuff dealing with boards and all that junk.
