Default Open Track Weekend at Grattan, Aug 7&8

I know it's listed in the calendar, but I thought I would let everyone know that 3 Balls Racing will be hosting two open track days at Grattan on August 7th and 8th (Sat and Sun). My plan is to run the normal 4 group setup on Saturday, and then go to real open track after lunch on Sunday. Also, we have started doing open passing in the most experienced group. It's a lot more interesting, and it had worked very well for the last couple of events.

Lunch and drinks will be provided both days. There will also be a little party Saturday night hosted by 3 Balls. We will have an instruction session for the beginners, and instructors will be available free of charge.

Cost is $175/day or $300 for both days. If you have any questions, please let know. You can sign up at 3ballsracing.com.

Thanks
Ken

Grattan is an amazing track - probably my favorite. If money weren't so tight I'd be there. 3 balls is a great group as well.

Splitime Dave told me the same thing about Grattan, was also his favorite track. He might be out there for this event as well. Makes me want to be out there even more. Do they have any other track events or test and tunes?

Argh stupid happy couples and their weddings.

3balls is a great group. I was just at Waterford Hills with them. I'd go to Grattan, but I will be out of town for a wedding that weekend as well.

Thanks for the compliment. Waterford turned out to be a great event.

We still have plenty of room at Grattan for those who are interested. It looks like Sunday will have lots of open track.

Also, don't forget that they repaved half of the track after last season, so if you haven't been since then, it should be a nice upgrade.

Thanks
Ken

I'm assuming a stock S2000 is ok to run.

How about a stock mazdaspeed miata?

Both cars are acceptable. We allow convertibles to run in stock form.

Thanks

I have a wedding to attend also (it must be a very popular weekend for weddings!!); otherwise, I would have gotten out to this one. I also want to try out Grattan.
