Opinion on apartments
These look pretty nice: Danbury Court Apartments
Any suggestions? Looking for 3/2, 1100+ sq feet, cats OK. Anywhere in Bloomington or Normal is OK, prefer the nicer part(s) of town (where ever they may be).

Danbury looks nice, and is in a good location.
Also see http://www.apartment-mart.com/ they own/manage probably 80% of all available space in town. Good selection, but I'm not particularly pleased with them personally - when/if I get back to Blm on contract I'll be getting an apartment from anyone but them.
I had a 1 bedroom in their Keisha complex. Small efficiency, older. Their nicer stuff is over behind the East Wal Mart and the Ponds on GE Drive. Their newer stuff by the airport looks nice I'd stay away from anything west of Towanda (not to be confused with towanda barnes, which borders the east side of the airport) as it'll be lower income/college students. As it was I was fairly paranoid parking my S in the complex.
I think the more north and east you go the better.

Really don't like the apartments offered by Apartment-Mount.
We (my father, I, and a friend) would prefer to stay away from hotel-like apartments (many apartments in large buldings, sometimes 3+ stories tall).
So northeast area is the way to go?
