Default out with old, in with the new

I let my little sister borrow my daily driver and she got into an accident and totalled the car (thankfully honda makes awesome cars and kept her safe and she's just fine)

so after racking up a ton of miles from daily driving the S and a handful of conversations with the wife about why we don't need a hybrid, the new beater finally came in.

That's a FANTASTIC combo for Chicago, definitely one I'd rock. I'm glad to hear everyone's OK, and it looks like things turned out better than expected!

Glad your sister is alright! Congrats on the new "beater," if you really want to call it that! Very clean!

thanks everyone! i have to say the big guy in the sky is definitely sending his blessings our way

abnormals2k: your thinking is perfectly normal and perfectly healthy. my wife and i were praying for the exact same thing, except that it would happen to me on my way to work. the civic was a coupe (originally got it as my commuter car to college because my h22a/93 accord guzzled but that's another story in itself) and we just recently had a baby so we needed a nice four door family car ... long story short, be careful what you wish for because god works in mysterious ways

Definitely one of the coolest 4-door baby-movers. Nicely done! Now you don't have any excuse to not make it out to Winter "beater" meets.
