Recommendations for PDR and paint corrections
I have some dents I want to have taken out and also I want to get a paint correction done soon to get rid of my swirls.
I don't wanna take it to just any detailing place because my paint is swirled pretty badly and im worried about taking it somewhere, paying all the money, and it not coming out how id want it.
Also I have some marks on my quarter panel, it looks like someone tried using touch up paint with a small brush or something and i've been told it might possibly need wet sanding to get rid of it. But that might not be the case, so it'd be nice if whichever shop/person does the paint correction can tell me what it is and fix it.
Can you guys recommend any shops you've been to or post reviews on others

Erich the dent winzard at our dent day is the best.
As far as paint correction, go with someone who has done an s2000 before.
I could always lend you a hand and teach you the art if you would be willing to wait for me to head back up there.

But id be willing to invest some time and money into it, a skill worth having as a car guy. Especially with a black car haha
When would you be up here? Im near the O'hare area
Dan, In a week or two on the weekend ill be back. It just depends.
You could always head down here to Carbondale. Ive heard Southern Illinois is a little bit of a party school.

If you have some spare time while your up here let me know, I dont know exactly whats needed but I could buy it so your not using your own.
I spoke with Erich this morning. He's going to come back to me with a proposed date in April for the Spring Dent Day. I'll then confirm that date with our host this year, as he did last fall, over in Schaumburg, IL.
I'm thinking of putting a $5-10 surcharge onto the event that will be contributed to the Epilepsy Foundation.
I'd like to hear about opinions on the charity surcharge. Please speak up about this.
So, we'll start a new thread on the event as soon as the final details are in place.
