It seems like they are trying to turn this event into something like Hyperfest out on the east coast. Hyperfest is a huge annual event, it attracts crowds of all levels, from show, drift, to serious road racing. It would be nice if we have something similar in the Midwest.

Road America has a very nice facility. The track itself, huge paddock area and a big "training area" on the side, I can definitely see a show, drift and road race all going on on the same weekend.

Looking forward to that.

In fact, NASA already hosted just such an event a couple years ago at Mid-Ohio.
In addition to a full compliment of racing, there were sport bikes doing parking lot tricks, and even drifting through the 7-8 "madness" complex at lunchtime.
The other stuff was amusing, but we were really there for the great racing

Does NASA or the track have any restrictions on convertibles?

The S2000 factory roll bars are approved, we just need to race top-down.
