That's the problem with "lowering" cars vs "lifted" trucks...the bumper height doesn't match anymore to stop each other on impact. But both sides don't look at it that way. They modify the heck of modify because it "looks good"...until the inevitable.

A stock height s2k will run up under a stock height full size truck though. I have seen a stock grand am run under a small ford ranger as a matter of fact. Happens even easier when both are stomping on the brakes and the tail of one is higher and the nose of the other is squatting. So this happens either way in many cases.

Just a heads up, my head is only a couple of inches above the bumper of a stock F150 in my stock Honda Fit.

The issue is truck and SUV heights, not low cars. Low cars don’t blind people or absolutely walk over them in collisions.

There’s zero benefit to trucks being as tall as they are, other than making men with physical/mental/emotional shortcomings feel like their big truck makes up for that.
