S2000 knowledgable service
I searched this forum and see virtually no thread for good service shops and recommendations in the metro Detroit area.
In my current case I need to replace the master clutch cylinder, do not have time/tools/garage to do it myself and only "known" options are dealership service wanting $490-670 just to change the master clutch cylinder alone. I could get a better deal at the local gas station with a bay but then I know it probably will be new to them. I think it's a good idea for us to come up with some recommended service places for our cars so that we can concentrate service experience a bit more.
And since there are so few of our cars in This area, i am willing to cast the net west to cover Ann Arbor. I personally will drive farther if I know there is a place that will take care of me at a fair price.

We currently drive up to Cawood in Port Huron. They have been excellent so far, using them for 3 years. They diagnosed a problem correctly and fixed it while we waited at the Tim Horton's just across the road. It was a fairly long wait but our S ran perfectly afterwards. We have been to two other dealerships on the west side and would not return to either of them.

I know Dietz (you can see his car all over their facebook page) and a few others seem to like this place, but I have never been myself:

We have just got back from having some work done on our VW. The guy has built and maintains his own dragster. He works from his garage. He lives in Woodhaven, if you are interested send me a PM and I'll give you more details.
