Default S2000 + snow

Aside from the normal careful driving, what are some precautions to take when (if absolutely necessary) driving an S2000 on snow/ice?

On the same note, what snow tires would you guys recommend?

I wouldn't go snow tires. The first winter I drove the car, I used Blizzak LM22. They were on the car for about 2 weeks for daily driving. They were so horrible on non-ice and non-snow conditions. I then ended up with some Firestone LeMans HR's for a quick fix until I could find the right tire. I ended up using those for two full winters after that.

There are others that really like the Kuhmo ASX's for all season. They really aren't a snow or ice tire, but those days that snow is coming down hard enough, you shouldn't be driving in anycase.

I have had LM-22's for two winters now. I've seen no issues. Of course , you have to change your driving style in the winter, but I think that is expected. Other than increased tire hum I have no issues with the LM-22

I'll be putting them on again when a free weekend comes up before thanksgiving.
