I am new to the s2k world but like to find out if there are any gatherings of like in the south western Michigan area. There is a lot I need to ask about this great little car.

I'm down in Kalamazoo but as far as i know not much goes on around this part of the state. Trying some gingerman or autocross events would be your best bet to meet car people just might not be s2000 owners.

 

Welcome to the S2k Sunvale! you will love this car. Unfortunatly I do not know of anything that goes on on that side of the state, Almost all the meets that we have are on the eastside of the state. We usually have a spring/summer meet that happens that you should definetly plan on attending, lots of great guys here and very helpful.

Hi Peter it's still a little early in the season but we could certainly use more meets on the west side of the state.

Yep, we will be doing this again. I've started the planning, just trying to find a decent date for it, the recent snow has me a little worried!

I'll keep everyone posted.

 

I just bought an '03 GPW/tan last week I'm in Brighton but would love to come out to the west side for a meet. Are there any threads for Michigan/Ohio meets coming up soon?

 

I think we're finally done with snow this year. I bought my car last Saturday in TN. Had the top down all the way back on Sunday, it was low 70's and beautiful until we got to northern OH. Monday morning I had 3" of snow on my brand new (to me) S2000

 

I truly hope so, time for some warmth!!
