Who cares about unkept promises? Life is full of unkept promises. And if all your days are so negatively impacted by the functionality of a car forum... I'd love to trade lives with you.

My rants were calls for patience. Give the new features a try. You'll like them, just like you grew to like the AP2, drive-by-wire, and the CR.

In the end...it's just a fncking car.

As for the name calling... My condolences. :-/

Well, if you're life is so negatively impacted by people complaining about the functionality of a car forum...

As I've stated, it's about a LOT more than the site. It's the COMMUNITY at large that I care about. If people leave S2ki (and people ARE leaving S2ki over this) it will fragment a shrinking community. Given how many people I've met because of the community, and the work I've done to try to build the community, it pisses me off. So to answer your question: I care about promises that are not kept by the site.

FTR -- I don't like the CR at all.

...and as someone tasked with the role of keeping the (regional) community intact, I'm not exactly a big fan of changes being made that result in not only members (paid or not, it doesn't matter to me) leaving, but members resulting to name calling to argue something out of all of our control.

This thread is proof enough that the way things have happened have resulted in a fiercely divided community, which doesn't exactly help Andy and I, as well as everyone else who enjoys participating in the forum and events.

Again, I think the software has great potential, but what is done is done, and it has already hurt the community.

I miss the activity that these boards used to have. Organizing meets and and all sorts of things (granted its still snowing in some states). I dont blame Community Organizers, i mostly blame those who implemented the update without warning that the initial interim update was going to blow. But you might as well close and delete the thread, it obviously went south
