This is the situation i just recently bought an alpine head unit and an ipod adaptor from the for sale forum from chicagos2k, we pm'ed each other on the deal and he seems pretty trustworth. But now i am starting to think that he just scammed me and booked it. Because after i paypaled him the money to send the item, i never heard from him ever again, and i have been pming him at least 5 times and no replies

Do any of you guys know him? the name is (chicagos2k) avatar is a picture of charlie brown, now i am not trying to give him a bad name or anything but it has been over two weeks and no replies or any word of the item

If any of you guys know him can you please tell him to pm me back about this situation because my patience is running out

 

I know Chicagos2k, and I am sure he didn't scam you.

I haven't heard his side, so I cannot explain exactly what the problem is. I do know that he just started a new job and has been very busy with that. I also know that we have had MASSIVE storms in the area for the last few weeks. It's very possible that his internet access has been out. I'm not trying to make excuses for him, simply offering some possibilites.

I just called and left him a voice mail to let him know about this thread.

 

the situation is that he pm'ed me saying that he got the money transfer and that he was going to send it out the next day, which was 2 weeks ago.

yeah well i dont mean to like judy him right away even though it does sound like it but i guess there are some possibilities, i didnt know the situation over there but thanx for informing me though, if you can or if you see him can you tell him to contact me about the situation asap please i will understand.. it was just frustrating to not get a reply for 2 weeks and still no item... that is all

if worse comes to worse there is another guy from socal that is willing to pick it up for me because he is going to chicago next week if you can reach him or call him he can meet up with one of the guys from socal that is going up there

 

Sorry to hear about the situation. I am also positive that Chicagos2k didn't scam you. As pete said, there were a few severe storms in the past few weeks and something on his end must of came up. Anyhow, hope this gets resolved soon.

 

I would also vouch for chicagos2k. Other than the fact that he has aids. so dont do anything with his genetalia, but his electronics should be fine. He just performed too much anal penetration in boys town with other boys. What can ya say aboot that.

Back to the topic at hand:

I'd like to remind the OP that this is still a long holiday weekend, and a LOT of people are traveling or at least enjoying the outside world rather than checking the forums.

Hopefully tomorrow will bring a response from Chicagos2k.

 

yeah i hope that this thing gets resolved or if any of you guys have his # and can contact him for me because one of the socal guys is going to chicago this weekend and maybe the transaction can be done with him if the item is not already sent..

i just dont want to make this a big scene or a very big deal i am sure that this happens from time to time.. just want my item that is all...
