Default Shaking Under Acceleration!

Ok well I droped my car yesterday. Right after finishing I took it out for a drive. I noticed that under acceleration the rear end was shaking. The faster the speed and the more throttle applied the more shaking. It is only while on the throttle. I got the car alligned today. While on the lift my buddy and I were looking for loose parts. We found that the driver side drive shaft had a lot of play in it.

Does any only have any thoughts on what else could be the problem? Also has anyone encountered this problem after lowering the car?

Also if any one has a drive shaft for sale let me know. Pinyo can you pm the place that sells remanufactured ones. I want to see if I can get a drive shaft cheap enough. That way I wont take the springs out and go to the dealer for some warranty work. Thanks

Does it shake hard under any kind of load, or does it shake extremely hard during harder accelerations?

Measure the "depth" of the shakes/shimmies by looking at your side view mirrors. That can be a gauge to see how badly you have the shakes.

If it's bad under harder accelerations, I'd be willing to bet that it's more than your inner CV's. I'd venture a guess and have your rear end taken off, dissassembled, look for any stress fractures, properly lined up diff assembly, etc.

Definitely inner CVs. It was probably shaking mildly before you dropped it, but after lowering the car you increased the angle they're bending - and magnificed the problem.

It shakes pretty bad under hard acceleration. The more load the harder the shake.

Luder do you have the cv joints? How much? I might just take it off and take it to a dealer.

Yes I do....just come by and take a look. Offer me what you think it's worth after looking at them.
